Video Rotation

This page includes videos that are currently stored within the WCFTR database and associated with the series: Video Rotation.

Video Rotation is an interactive video sculpture in which the stage (two large black circles) is set and the audience enters to complete the scene. With one stage horizontal and the other vertical, two cameras rotated slowly on their axes around the participants. The two images are then superimposed, crafting a sensation similar to flying in the art. It was displayed at the Artpark in Lewiston, New York in 1982. This project inspired her later project, The Link.
